ENG – When i visited Leipzig for the first time, my attention was catched up by its fascinating and mysterious courtyards, the so called Höfe. I found myself walking thru their space, not roads, but astonishing rooms of creativity. I call them a theater in space, made of space, calling more space.
The first feeling was: I feel myself enclosed.
The second feeling was: I feel myself safe.
The third feeling was: I could dance, in this theater.

DE – Bei meinem ersten Besuch in Leipzig fielen mir seine Höfe auf. Oft geht man in diesen großen kreativen Räumen spazieren, keine Straßen, sondern Freiräume.
Leipzigs Höfe sind richtige Theater im Freien, ihre horizzontalen und vertikalen Geometrien schaffen einen wahren Theaterraum.
Zuerst fühlst du dich eingesperrt.
Dann geschützt.
Und zum Schluss könntest du in ihnen tanzen.
